The densely populated drops of fog proceed to blanket my vision and cloak my body in a dreary humid cloud. The soft thump of my running feet reverberate back at me like a quick hollow heartbeat. The doors of the clouds quickly fold shut behind me, swirling slightly with a breeze of disturbance, then once again returning on their slow monotonous drift over the sweaty ground. My heavy breathe plumes from my open mouth like a poisonous white smoke, then it dissipates into the wall of mist around me. Faint gray outlines blur within my sight, creaks and squawks dart around my eardrums as a haze of confusion builds a wall around my mind.
