How I have changed
My life used to be so happy
What went wrong?
I will never know
The smile
I always wear
Is only visible
On the outside
Inside I cry
I am empty
I walk Around
The grim reaper
Appearing on my top
Follows me everywhere
Waiting to strike
Waiting for the day
I finally break
Until then I stay
Smiling on the outisde
Crying on the inside
Wanting to be set free
The angel yearns for freedom
Her pain screaming out
Her once beautiful eyes
Now sad and tearful
Trapped inside
A demons body
I may look alive
Feel alive
Even act alive
but the demons
have taken over me
Slowly draining away
Every last ounce
Of energy I once owned
Inside I am dieing
As the demons kill
The angel that was once me
Author notes
Well, its a poem partially about my feelings, but it symbolises the angel, demon fight going on inside us all every day, in this case the demons are winning. I know it may seem the saem as many other poems out there, but I am thinking about doing a series of poems on the fight between good and evil, and how different ones can come through and triumph. Some will be related to fantasy, others to everyday life. So keep watch for these poems

I base most of my poems on angels and demons these days, whether they are fantasy poems where the angels and demons exist as beings themselves, or related in real life, where the angels and demons control our concience. I'm glad you like it
