Sisters are best friends forever
Someone who'll give you support
Cherish them if you have them
They're something that cannot be bought
Sometimes they may bug you stupid
Or hurt you real deep down
But they'll put a smile on your face
If ever you wear a frown
They're someone who backs you all the way
Against your name calling foes
She's the backbone of a lion
The supporting stem of a rose
It doesn't matter if they're smart
or really, really dumb
because if you don't have a sister to share
You don't know what your missing out on
Someone to laugh with you heartily
To help you when your down
But if they had prize for best sister
It would be mine who would wear the crown

This is a great poem, I like the hope here. Good use of rhyme here, this is a beautiful piece about sisters. Keep writing, this was a great tribute to your sister
I like the two lines ‘She’s the backbone of a lion The supporting stem of a rose’- I felt that it showed that she gives strength to both your strength and your beauty.
All the best

Very mine. My little sister is just like that. She knows how make my little brother, me and everybody else smile like angels when we're upset. You give good description in this poem. Do you have a sister? If not and even if so, there's plenty here at AP to bond with. Thanks for sharing this, I found it loving and inspiring.
