But true friends leave their mark

Really well done tribute to your dearest of friends. I am so happy you have found people to help fill those holes, it is a great feeling knowing that each scar of past pain and such can be healed by a friendly hello by a good friend. Your thankfulness and loving spirit come through here, and I think you would be a very good friend to have.
Rhyming scheme was excellent as well and composition is pretty much spot on.

Very beautiful poem, Storm! Not to be mechanical about it, but even the rhythm to it was "catchy". I think you gave a great way to say "I will remember you" and "where ever you are, I am not far away". Those things are always great about friends - even ones you do not see in a long time, or perhaps will not see in a long time. It was a great write!!
