For it shows, you’ve met our need

We thank you Lord, for our labored jobs
For it shows that we’ll succeed

We thank you Lord, for the dirty dishes
For it shows that we’ve been fed

We thank you Lord, for our worn bibles
For it shows that they’ve been read

We thank you Lord, for everything
That you’ve placed on our roads

We thank you Lord, for being there
Helping, to carry our loads
