Me And Poetry
So soothing it was, reading poetry,
it made me feel, it made me see.
All the emotions deep inside of me,
then I joined allpoetry.
With pen in hand, looking deep in my soul,
a broken woman, one not whole.
Words began flowing, right from the start,
today these words still pour from my heart.
Spiritual poems touched deep within,
right from the start, drawing me in
A fine poet live4eternity,
began speaking God's words to me.
Into my heart I accepted Jesus,
all the same, is how He sees us.
I let go of my sorrow and my pain,
made the sun shine, stopped the rain.
God has given a gift of love to share,
I listen, comfort, sooth and care.
My AP family I hold so dear,
that is why God brought me here.
So many dear friends, one special to me,
touched my heart, set my soul free.
His compassion, chased away my strife,
gave me love, this changed my life.

I joined allpoetry June 22, 2004. I met Jason (live4eternity through a comment he left on my first poem.He called me and on July 16th after being a non believer all my life, I accepted Jesus in my heart. It was a hard at first being the only Christian in my family. But through my writing poetry I met so many dear friends who helped my faith get stronger. They still help me today. I love them dearly. Another opened my heart and let me feel again by helping me release the pain of heartbreak in my past and be happy again. I will always be greatful. We are dear friends and we will forever be friends and there for each other. My wonderful AP family has changed my life too. They have brought me much love and happiness. Some are like my own children, calling me everyday and visiting my real family. Yes, the day I started writing poetry my life changed and I began to smile and see the sun shine again. God keeps blessing me with so much.

ah poetry, it is life, for me anyway, long before i came online i had been writing and throwing work to the winds a good piece here showing your progression through time and the influence allpoetry had on you via another leading to the lord.
God has given a gift of love to share,
