Through the country’s hardships I want to be,
something more than anyone can see.
I want to be the one next to many others.
Ones that could die, that I call brothers.
I want to take the challenge and prove to be better.
All though for a while all I can send is a letter.
To keep the name of freedom alive,
as well as keeping my own eternal drive.
For I will make it and in the end stand tall.
It is a decision that I will always be able to recall.
I want to explore my limits, my fate, and everything between.
For I want to be a part of something, I want to be a marine.
