What is the 'Wick?

The 'Wick is south of the western field, which in turn is east of the spring fields
A peninsula in an unconventional way; ice and lakes houses were back in our heyday
One year older than this grand old nation; only memories remain of the south lake station
Home of Wenekeiamaug, yours truly, and Lobo; our principle crops are corn, milk, and tobacco.
Four towns, three counties, two provinces and two different states; our little Jog is in just the right place.

Author notes

Take a guess, do you know what it is?  Just a random little ditty that floated across my mind when I felt like being indirect answering a question!  Enjoy!

-J€ŠŠÍ©Å-

P.S. Should I split the stanzas into the little half phrases? Hmmm... critical comments, please!

    Wow, very witty and sweet

I see the voice of this poem as town crier and LOVE it. You should submit this to the Chamber of Commerce, or the town historian. Cudos to you, Uba

best i've read in a while

it sounds sort of like a freestyle rap...at least that's how i read it...i found a few lines a little rough on flow (maybe just becasue of how i read it)...but i have to say that i just absolutely loved the thing
