Tradgedy In the Skies

It all happened on a beautiful
September day
Tuesday September 11, 2001 to
Be exact

Four planes went out that day
One
Flew into the World Trade Center
People
Were thinking that is a horrible thing
that just happened
Everyone in the building that day
Family
And friends a like scrambled to get
Out
In time and walk away alive

Soon after the first disaster a
Second
Plane slamed into the second tower
Could
This be a coincidence
No
Because minutes later another plane
Crashes
Into the Pentagon near Washington D.C.
Something
Is going very wrong
America
Soon learns that it is under attack by
Terrorism

Back in New York the World Trade Center
As
We know it to be has come tumbling down
People
All over are in great panic
Everyone
Is running for their lives
Others
Are jumping out windows to their unfortunate
Deaths
Sometime later that morning the last known
Plane
That was heading to California is going down
It
Sadly crashes into a field in Pennsylvania
We
Later learn it was a blessing in disguise
That
The plane landed in a wide open field
Because
People aboard this plane's passengers
Struggled
With hijackers to over power the hijackers
But
The attempt failed because the plane still went down

It was a blessing in disguise because
There
Were some heroes aboard the plane that
Day
Because they may have saved thousands more people
That
Could have been gone for the plane that went
Down
In Pennsylvania may have been trying to hit
The
Capital building or maybe even the White House

How could anyone be so full of hate and
Be
So thoughtless as to do something
So
Monstrous and hurtful

Why or how could other countries hate America
So
Much that they would want to take so
Many
Innocent lives

How could hijackers get a pilot's license and
Be
Able to fly another country's planes such
As our own
How could all the hijackers
Get
Onto the planes and no one at
Any
Of the airports even suspect anything
Is
Going to happen

In our time of tragedy New Yorkers and
Other
People from surrounding cities came to the
Aide
Of the World Trade Center Victims
And
Volunteered their time, energy, talent and
Even
Their lives to help others in their
Hour
Of need the firefighters policemen and volunteers
Are
The true heroes of the horrible scene Americans
Have
