What do you really see,
When you look inside of me?
Do you see a pretty face,
Who’s desperately trying to find her place?
Do you see a broken child,
Sitting in the corner, just wanting to hide?
Do you see a smart arse geek,
Who day by day is called a freak?
Do you see a gay young girl,
Trying to be accepted by the world?
Do you see a fucked up cutter,
Wasting her life away in the gutter?
Do you see a silly writer,
Who wishes she could be a fighter?
Do you see I want to die,
And the smile on my face is just a lie?
Do you see the real me,
Who wants so much to just be free?
Now tell me, what do you really see,
When you look inside of me?
Author notes
I wrote this last night, just sort of came to me.
I may be adding to it.

I'm crying. You know why? Because every word you wrote I've seen your struggle through. i've witnessed it all and I've been there myself.
You and I are one and the same babe, and knowing that makes me so proud because you are a wonderful young woman.
Keep fighting, you are a fighter. You proven it to me again and again. Never give up.
