Where I'm from is a fast growing city
Where family is there and never pities
Friends are there, and always care
The sounds of cars and children playing
The smell of many foods cooking
Where I'm from there are many cultures
blacks, Whites, Mexicans, Japanese, Chinese
There are so many but we all get along
Like a big mixing pot, we're all alike
We're all here and living life
Where I'm from you can go to Church
And not care what people think
You have friends that are different religions
Where different churches are next to each other
There are many different religions here
Where I'm from food is in many varieties
You can eat a different kind of food everyday
Food's are mix and mingled for a different taste
You can drive through neighborhoods and
Smell the food cooking.
Where I'm from my neighborhood is upper-middle class
My neighbors are kind and friendly
They are welcoming to new people
We throw a block party every year
That is Where I'm From!
