Pen tapping,
mind wrenching-
conscious
Speaking of dead kingdoms,
warlords, and prophets is
second nature
Pen tapping,
mind numbing-
subconscious
Ghosts of unrequited dreams
are scattered vividly across my mind,
they breathe
Emptied eyes,
restless heart-
damning
Haunted by one winged angels
and injuries caused by
the unfaithful
Emptied eyes,
broken heart-
common
Negativity abscesses in oceans
of ill-gotten fears, drowning
feeble hopes
Remorseful tongue,
bleeding conviction-
plague
A pen always flows
where my words
dry up

You've captured the essence of the writers' heart in this piece. Loved it very, very much!

true
Being a writer myself, I know the feeling you have described. I have felt it quite often. This poem is so true to character. I love it. -
Wow, I really like this poem. Knowing you I can tell this poem comes from the heart, and this makes it so much better. You use your writing to express your emotions, there is of course no better way, and you are great at it.
