Lord give me the strength to do all that I can,
To bring forth a healthy and happy child.
To help me give this child you entrusted to me,
All that they will need to make it through life.
May they learn to love life,
And be a good person to all mankind.
May they know the love of a loving family,
And love them in return.
May they grow into a responsible adult,
And do well in all they endeavor.
May they follow in thy light,
And know the peace and serenity of thy love.
