I know what you are looking for
with all my heart I hope you get it
but, not going to hold my breath, yet
you see what it is you want and can't have
yet you can have it, just think again
have is a word with many definitions
why be so single minded? Perhaps one
can lead to another? And another?
Or perhaps one will change you
your expectations will rearrange
and happiness will bonk you on the head
like a boomerang, that was targeted for you all along
and you just didn't know it
For now, the burden of knowing too much
will prevent such an occurrence
so, put on your dunce cap and we can
go out and throw boomerangs at the pretty girls together
that'll teach them!
