To Aidan.

If i could take back time
all the disicions i've made.
I wouldnt take him back         For anything.

I thought my life was over.
though it just begun
and on that dredded day
god gave me a beautiful son
He looked at me with bright blue eyes
5 fingers around my thumb
as if he knew just who i was
his scared and troubled mom.

somehow i knew just what to do
Because god showed me how.
&& with that strenth i held him tight
and swore to never let go.

a baby at fifteen? you're pretty fucking tough because i know nineteen-year-old girls who couldn't take care of a baby. [like me, for example.] he sounds great and i'm happy that you decided to keep him afterall. babies certainly are precious, aren't they?

    wow

This is really sweet and beautiful. It really shows how much love you have for your son and how much strength you give each other. I really like the line "I wouldn't take him back for anything". It says it all, really. I really like the way this begins and ends... the first line draws the reader in, and the last line is an excellent metaphor for a mother's eternal love.

I really admire your strength and courage. I can't imagine the emotions involved with going through what you have gone through, but I can really see that you've handled it quite well.

I agree with a couple of the other comments that a spell-check might be a good idea, but really... this is amazing.

    Great write.

I agree, spell check it and show him when he's older. Great piece. And your stength is something to admire.

I have tremendous respect for you for not only keeping your baby, but not even for a moment regretting him. It takes a strong-willed person to do that. I admire that trait in people.

Only thing, you might want to use a spell-check.

But other than that, I applaud you for your strength to get through an extremely tough situation.
