Throbbing
           Heat
pulsing and moving and swaying
bodies pressed
                     To the cold pavement
awaiting judgement to be passed
   Blush
flush
                    Forget
sitting still and silent
          No movement
Sounds forcing their way
             Through an unfocused skull
Solitude
                  Silence
the buzz
                   The calm
silver
          Metal

Hello Feadra!! LOL Yeesh that sounds terribly formal doesn't it?! Anyhow I didn't realize YOU were still posting here at AP, granted I haven't been on here in ages. Your poem is awesome though, I made my own personal interpretation and what I grasped was along the lines of suicide, mostly with the metal reference and everything. If I'm wrong leave me in my ignorance please LOL! Talk to ya later!

beautiful poem, mesmerizing play with words,
I like your contradiction Heat/cold pavement but I don't grasp what the judgement is about?
maybe you could insert a few more words to make it clearer?

    thanks for your beautiful thoughts,

    best
