A Solitary Darkness
You build your wall, silently.
Accusatory brick by brick,
a wall so high, none can assail it.
Yet you cry that I have not.
Your tears, a river, cut between us.
Shutting me away, a flow so wide
I cannot see you there,
crouching in your despair.
And as the sun of our hope sets
We are no longer WE.
There is you and there is me,
Alone.

....stunning....I really have nothing left to say because this is basically how I feel right now. A superb write...very heartfelt and well expressed. The ending...very powerful. God Bless and take care.

It's so good to see that you have once again picked up your pen and shared one small piece of the many talents you possess with us here at Allpoetry Dan. I have missed reading your work. I do hope that you are happy, healthy and above all else, feeling loved. This is such a sad piece but done in the superb manner that I have come to expect from your work. You have always had a most expressive way of delivering your thoughts. I hope we see more from you soon!

Hello
Glad to you see you with us once again. I always enjoyed your words of poetry.
A sad write you have here. When a couple are no longer WE it is a sad day indeed. It brings tears and heartbreak to one or maybe to both or maybe a whole family. Depending in the situation.
I hope to see back with us more often. If sadness is in your life..... pour your thoughts out in frantic writing or mellow words of happiness. It will help.
Hugs to you and yours
