I frantically look all around
not recognizing what I've found
All I see is darkness and sorrow
An overgrown path to an unknown tomorrow
I fight to break free but you suck me back in
Could this be the punishment for my every sin?
Forgive and forget is something I'll never know
because compassion and love you dont fucking show
I take my first step just to suddenly fall
Confused, like I'm trapped behind an invisible wall
but I keep on trying, persistence is key
Depression so controlling, dont let me succumb to thee
I keep my eyes open and stare down the path
Challenging all obstacles fueled by my wrath
The pages inside show a map to my way
Release all the horror so in peace I will lay
