Too many ignorant concepts
How will we see the ending
Of all these unsubstantiated beliefs
Too many egos invested
In keeping these judgements alive
Too much money dedicated
To too many ignorant ideas
That too many ignorant people
Will kill for
And too many Innocent people
Will die for
Too many
Fearfully ignorant days
When hearts are not
Full of trust
Too many angry faces
With no understanding
Of what they've got
Too many ignorant faces

BEAUTIFULLY EXPRESSED!
There is so much heartache and sorrow in the world that is brought about by people being cruel and heartless. We though must do our best to change this way. Those who reach out to others and take away their pain are the ones who will win in the end.

Yes ignorance is at the root of all evils. Since most of us do not know that even if one life remains unhappy our own happiness will not be complete, we forget to remove the miseries of other people. The more we think of only self interest the more will be number of selfish faces. The moment we can see grief of others as my own, the conflicting faces will disappear conversing it to one.

Thank you Butterfly,
I guess by the time i got round to finishing my poem I'd completely forgotten the 10 line rule. Silly me.

A very expressive write and so truly and clearly profound. Not constructed in ten lines or less however... x Butterfly.

Wonderful commentary on the decay of the spirit of a society when it blindly accepts the rhetoric of ignorance ... wonderfully done Tara

I agree. There are too many ignorant and angry faces 'cause they don't know what they should really be angry about. Anyhoo - I believe the attacking people do, they do to themselves first because it keeps them from being able to enjoy every moment in the now. I said that, to say this, good luck in the contest and well said.
