Healing has begun;
with your gentle knock
upon heartache's door.
Surges of bubbling laughter
and emerald promises sparkle
within my heart forevermore.
Where unbelievable horror thrives:
you insert trust and compassion
from the center of your tender palm.
With many years of winds to investigate -
two sisters from different worlds now unite,
as the seas of thrashing wonders calm.

Nice writing here, Melanie. I like it a lot. Nice tribute to your friend, Bel. I like it. I love the flow of it and everything. The colors work well and everything. Honestly, I stopped writing. So I think this is really great. Keep up the good work.
Love,

What a lovely, touching tribute to a friend, Melanie. I know how difficult it is to write these kind of poems, because to say thank you in a poetic way, to express sincere gratitude in words is not the easiest thing to do. But you did it with style and grace and elegance - these are words pulled like threads from the heart to weave a poetic hug for your friend. I know she will treasure this always. You've inserted your own heart and your generosity here on this page too...
Much love

Mel, it’s amazing how beautifully you versify your feelings and enhance the canvas with the hues of the given words …. One can sing and dance with your verse and it’s always a great pleasure to read your work… I don’t just read it but study too
…
As for the content of the poem… one can sense that it’s written from heart… I couldn’t pick any particular metaphor that I liked the most; they are all equally good…
The whole composition is a lovely elaboration of the title with personal touches…
I noticed your friend Celticmoon has appreciated it tremendously and it has touched her emotionally aswell… hey, that’s the sign of a good poetry… you’re precious my friend…

I enjoy the aliveness and fevor that you bring to your words. Son of Jim speaks about your plenithora of descriptors and it is a critical comment worth paying attention to. There is a fine line in there somewhere. I too often err to being too spare and you may get too caught up in the splendor of your words. Worth looking at. As a poet, I know you are always trying to hone your efforts to the one line that catches it perfectly with no more said than necessary. You have so much energy and joy in your spirit. It so nicely infects everything you write. I think you may succeed far better with what you say then you realize. Love, Tom B.

This is a very beautiful tribute that you have written for this special person
I've come across with this poet quite a few times already, but never had the change to actually meet her from closer... well done

Very very well done, my sweet friend! I'm sure this made Bel smile a mile!

Very good.
Wow, a virginal comment box poem, I don't get many of these. To be honest I have mixed feeling about this poem, so I will list them in likes and others.
(likes); your personification of things like eyes and memories and winds, concept, most of your language choices.
(others); I felt that there were maybe a few to many describers and modifiers which weakens in a couple of places, couple of cliche's that although they worked I think other phrase choices could still conveyed the intent.
Overall, very good.
