Hoo Goes There

Missing image
I come as the silent teacher
The wise, all-seeing preacher
Swift I fly through the night
Keen my eyes, take this sight

I've learned to see behind the masks
Take on many people's 'tasks'
I'm secretive and secrets I hold
I lurk where shadows become bold

A messenger is my main purport
Shifting shape to any sort
Follow me and you will learn
Magick as the full moon burns

I am your link from dark to light
The realms of secrets in the night
When this world you need to pass
This wise old owl is no ass

White Owl upon a misty path
    Warning of the critical slope
    Wacthing eagles slice the dark
Beyond the faded light of hope

To show a path to furture bright
Teach the novice in the mind
Towards the nest of light to find

Beyond the faded light of hope
    True path through midnight's afternoon
    Shining through a slivery moon

Towards a nest of light to find
In moonlight's eye you see the path
    Watching eagles slice the dark

    Shining through a silvery moon
    Guide traveller to welcome hearth
White owl upon a misty path

    Watching Eagles slice the dark
Beyond the faded light of hope
To show a path to future bright
White owl keeps guard of shadowed slope

I know this one's not mine and I can't tell you why but I'm always greatful when friends think about me.
    I don't have many friends

Thank you for your comments, much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed, and that raising the owls is cool. They are one of my totems, and I have 5 of them that continually land within a foot of me. It's awesome.

    Special!

This will be a favorite for me! I raised two baby owls a couple of years ago. I was very attached to them as they grew but I knew I had to let them go. They were beautiful Bard owls. I still miss them to this day.

You certainly brought back these memories!
