I washed upon the beach,
Battered and bruised from rock collisions..
I crawl to a boat washed up upon this shore,
And let it be my shelter.
No longer able to survive under water’s surface,
I flex my new legs,
Praying that my sailor will return..
My soul-mate, My lover..
For when the Sirens trashed his boat,
I swam with him to shore,
And now
I am washed up on a beach,
He will be my saviour.
I have found my faith in love,
My faith in him.
My poet, my angel..
I have given up my tail,
To be with him.
So I may be all he wishes me to be.
My sailor, My Kevin..
I hope his compass guides him
Home.
To my side.
My friend, My darling.
Life would be so much easier,
If we followed our hearts..
The compass that points to our true desire.
Follow your heart,
Where I rest,
Waiting forever
In a suspension of time,
For you..
..Follow your heart,

I very much enjoyed you poem, especially the words "that life would be so much easier if we followed our hearts." If more people in this world believed this, what a wonderful world it would be. -
A very good point indeed. I love you Katy, forever and always, even though our hearts might not always be toghether and were not always on good terms, we always come around again and have wonderful moments like this. I love you darling <3 *)
