Tour of Loss and Rememberance

Last night I felt you, in the city we both loved
I walked the crowded streets alone, not lonely
Every breath I took reminded me you were here

I went to the hotel in which you took your life
But the sandy brick only held our sad memories
Your life was more than how it ended in strife

Sitting on the water, where your ashes were spread
I finally found your spirit in the salty air
And upon the uneven ground which I tread

Everytime the pain and loss are too much to bear
I go to the city where out roots are bound
And I can always find your true essence there

I think one of the toughest things to handle is suicide. I'm truly sorry for your loss and hope the pain can ease through time as I know it won't completely go away. I can tell it's still there even after nine years. I do wish you the very best. I want to personally thank you for writing for my contest In Loving Memory (Release Your Emotions) for I know it couldn't have been an easy thing to do. You have been applauded for pouring out your emotions to me.

This is really good, really sad, but you had a way of...i can't articulate it, but i could feel your pain, but in a way that's rarely achieved...i know that doesn't make sense, i'm actually having trouble putting it in to words. Anyways, really great job.
