Coffee cups are lined up in rows,
books piled and done, cover to cover.
So much to do, and still I boil the kettle
again, turn to the shelves for one more...

    I like this. Kind of a melancholy look into the depths of perhaps why so many of us put off looking within, using our surroundings as distractions, hoping for better times to come as the world turns. Just my take, but that's the beauty of poetry, striking us all differently. There is a lot of depth here.
