You see that picture
The one of our children with us
How I hate to see it now,
Now that you’ve ruined all our trust
You broke apart our marriage
You’ve destroyed our family
You have degraded what we had
And embarrassed the hell out of me
No longer will I stand for it
I found out all about you
You will never again make these kids pay
For the things they didn’t do
So tonight before you get off work
Long before you get home
We’ll be gone far away from you
As you return to empty lifeless rooms
I stuck by you through everything
I was at your beckoned call
But further away you seemed to go
Finally building up your wall
I tried to break it down
I did all I knew how too
In the end the truth emerged
All along not me… but you
The blame and guilt
Selfishly placed up on me
It was always my fault that you
Could no longer make us happy
Realize one thing
Someday our children will know
They’ll see the truth about you
And apart from you they’ll eventually grow.

Quite a while ago, hope things have changed for the better and you and your children did leave and make a new life for yourselves. Sentiments well expressed in these lines.

I would have to say that this poem says the rythem that once played here at home...WE are great now though...I know, I also had a hand in things too. We started all over, promise to leave our past alone and go forward and for two years now WE are doing excellent. I dont know what this poem is about for you, and I hope things are better now.
Luv ya, Amanda
