I loved, You lied

I loved you more
than a poet
loves his words,
more than an artist
loves her paint.

My mind was full of
memories ;
Sunrises, Kisses,
loves between sheets.
And my heart full of hope.

You lied to make me believe
in a fairy tale that
was coming true.
Promises that were spoken
of the future
and whispered words of love,
were they just used
so you could get what you
want?

And now all thats left
is an empty shell
of my soul.

You have destroyed
my faith
in love

lovely poem although extremely sad. hope that you dont still feel this way about love and that you have been able to get over this heartache.
