Out in the world
Grass sways
With the rhythm
Of sunlight
Out in the world
Blue skies
Carry the lazy herds
Of purple clouds
Out in the world
People scurry,
Continually searching
For fulfillment
Out in the world
I step today
To join the race
And breathe the air
Out in the world
Grass sways
With the rhythm
Of sunlight
Out in the world
Blue skies
Carry the lazy herds
Of purple clouds
Out in the world
People scurry,
Continually searching
For fulfillment
Out in the world
I step today
To join the race
And breathe the air
Author notes
Got me some crutches and I'm on the move! It felt good to look at the world from a different perspective... forsaking a comfy bed that at times can seem like a prison.

I think this says a lot about how precious it is to be able to do things -- like walking -- that we may take for granted everyday. Thank you for this reminder, and I hope you are healing well. Peace. -

Whoot! Reading all these today, I am thrilled that you have regained some mobility. It may seem like an uphill battle, but then so is everything else.
Good going!

My Brother, my friend! To know that pain has receded and mobility has increased is indeed uplifting! Please try not to overdo; curb that natural exuberance for life just enough to give Nature a chance to do her healing without interruption.

Attain release in disturbance.”

In my thoughts and prayers friend.Big ol' hugs!~~Suseann P.S. It's not surprising we sharpin our breathing in a more vivid view of a colorful world in times of challanges.

Welcome back spirit friend and brother. You have been greatly missed by all. Even when the body is so beaten that we feel as if nothing can help anymore, Spirit gives us the energy in our heart to listen to his voice and hear him calling us back to finish our work in this lifetime. Blessings dear one and congrats on the crutches, now the baby steps can come as you step out into the world again. Remember to give thanks to Creator for the gifts that have been bestowed.

One small step at a time...and the race is won. Up and at 'em, friend, the world awaits your new perspective. We look forward to hearing about it poetically, as well.

Out of the comfy, warm sustenance of the womblike bed, off on your first halting journies (oh, it seems just yesterday he was beginning to crawl!). Step by step, back to a full gallop. The world is still out here, but not quite the same... never the same, always changing... so taste it while it's hot and fresh and alive.
Welcome back to the world of the ambulatory, Poet!
Step brightly and lightly! -

Dear Presence, Whatever they tell you and no matter how much it hurts, do the therapy....every bit of it...You poem is beautiful and reminds us of the simple joys of life. One good thing about a trama is that is slows down you mind and body and makes you smell the roses. God Bless You! Jane -
Are you back home?
