You be the pen, and I'll be the paper
We'll write up something juicy at twilight,
Let's keep the ink a flowing freely
And whip up a great piece tonight.
So many new things we can try
Like Cinquain, Haiku, or Free Verse,
We can even try poetry in motion
For sure, if worse comes to worse.
You might dip your pen in your inkwell
Even write in calligraphy,
We go together, that's for sure
Something that comes so naturally.
As soon as your pen makes contact
You will tattoo my paper beautifully,
Finally, we have both come together
United as one, now that's sweet poetry!
