Let the world sleep when you are sad, let the rain put out your fires when you are mad
Remember, tomorrow's yet to come, and I'll still be here my little one
And when you seem all alone, and darkness is all you've known
I'll be your ray of truth, I'll bring myself to you
I'll know when you need me most of all, and I'll be your rope if you happen to fall
Let the world sleep when you are sad, let the rain put out your fires when you are mad
Remember, tomorrow's yet to come, and I'll still be here my little one...

This is a lullaby I like to sing to my cousins when it's storming out or when they wake up from nightmares. It puts them to sleep, and they're fine so I'm glad you felt what they felt.

Calming and Reassuring
Cr187,
Great job on this lovely little rhyming piece for little ones. You have a nice way with calming the fears with those who are afraid.
Like Kari said, This could almost be sung as a song. Thank you so very much for entering and I wish you the best of luck now and always.
Blessings,
Lily
