How many people can say they really know me
How many of them would really care
Would they welcome me with open arms
Or turn away in revulsion and disgust
Though they are like me in at least one way
They too wear the mask of an imaginary person
So much do they wear it they truly believe it to be real
How happy they are in their state of ignorance
But even joy has a price, one I'm not willing to pay
Yet forced I am to play this stupid game
I take no pleasure in deceptions or lies
And this mask has grown so heavy I feel I might buckle at any time
So very tired I am of this charade
But impossible to stop this torturous ride
I am cursed with this gift of knowing what I am
Knowing, yet knowing what I can't
This path is clear and at the same time inaccessible
So I lift this great burden and put my mask on
Always knowing that no one can even see me at all

sweetheart I want you to listen to a song called Hate Me by Blue October also by them Razor Blade and Into the Ocean those 3 songs I can pretty much live by.. I know you show a mask.. I guess to me a persons mask is easy to bypass once you've gotten to know their "mask".. I know I havn't been around for a while fluffy.. but you know I'm here if you need to talk.. I haven't changed much.. just fell in love lol I'm still me..

I dont know what to say to this one Paul. Take off the mask, accept life for what it is. You are a beautiful person and deserve to live freely
You are the one that set me on a path in search of the truth ,quite a tough road, but at least I know my life is real
