Never Changing Change

Watching my self fall through lax ed generations
Desiring a light without participation
Shuttering at what we and I have become
Nothing, for we have forgotten the call to overcome
A call colliding with the voices of many
Tired of planning around the allowed penny
Frightened of stepping out on our own
Fear of being hit by that first cast stone
Choices fought for but now in disregard
Weak is our battle while ancestors terried hard
Let the scales of justice be swung at our heads
Those who refuse to stand need to remain dead

Author notes

hardcore...i loved it...im gussin here...but i think it was about people who change only 2 become other people...and they never become thier own person...and the end was harsh...like leave the people who died and didnt stand out remain dead because theres another 1 exactly like em out here some where...hardcore...i loved it...later

      Thank you and sorry,

I am really late on checking back, but I'll squash excuses.
Though I set my focus on people who choose not to learn from those who ventured before them. Who see fact of fore steps and still choose to remain in an undesired point in their life whether it be financial, social educational or what. I know that your guessing was indeed correct so our meaning collided into agreement. I am glad you liked it and sorry again it took me so long to respond.
