Shattered

Metallic flecks embellish a blanket of midnight.
A simple beauty, these specks of light.

To pierce the mind of Goddess' eyes
With gentle rains while she cries.

A flash, a crash, the silence broken
Utters soft, her worldly emotion.

With tear stained face, but do they hear?
The pain endured, is it not clear?

In fury by her tempest rage,
This force of nature's, earthly stage.

Struck by hands of greedy man,
Now pay the price at her command.

A million flecks, her tears now scattered
To midnight's dark, this plane, she shatters.

You're right, it does sound better that way. Fixed it. Thank you for the wonderful comment, and such a compliment. Books huh? Perhaps someday.

    Mysteriously beautiful

Wonderful imagery and imagination flows, from the depths of the mysteries you so love to write. I love the worlds you create, you should write books you know Storm.
Oh just one thought? the line (This force of nature, earthly stage.) Should there be an S at the end of nature, just sounds better to me, but I may be wrong.
