Perpetual War

Feeling poetic
or maybe just pathetic, I
sat down to write this
but instead I just bite this
pen
that I have yet to use
when
will my inspiration ooz
cuz then
I'll win instead of lose
this perpetual war
of me versus writer's block

Author notes

So.  You might be saying to yourself, these aren't lyrics, and I guess you're right..but I've come up with music for it--something punk-rock.  I kinda just pictured it as one of those short, kinda stupid songs that Relient K (if you don't know them I'm sorry) puts inbetween their songs on their CDs.  I wrote this after starting a poem and not being able to finish it.  Of course when I write about writer's block the words and music and rhymes come smoothly.  sheesh.  ironic.

    Oooo. Nice. Yes, very ironic indeed that you say you have writer's block. This would be a sweet lil song like the ones Relient K do!! Hey. You ever heard of Hawk Nelson, FM Static, or Thousand Foot Krutch. If you like Relient K, I think you'd like them. Well, great to read something of yours, it's sure been awhile. Hope all is well!!
