The heart is a funny thing
constantly changing, yet always remaining the same.
Somehow it knows when things are right
and even when you cry the hardest,
feel the worst,
it knows that someday,
your life will change
and you'll be happy.
It knows when your in love,
and it knows when they are too.
It can bring sympathy to those who need it,
lessen the anger of others,
and benefit all.
Sometimes it may be misinterpreted,
but never is it wrong.
Now only if
we could all believe enough
and trust ourselves enough
to truly listen to it.

Wow it's been a while since you posted. Still a great poet though, your writing hand hasn't gone cold. I liked everything about the poem, just like with your others. Keep it up, keep writing, keep posting, and I'll keep reading them, and keep loving them.
