SINGING FOR JESUS
Endurance prevails, as I sing a song
Sing it out loud, for with God I belong
Lifting my soul with voices so sweet
Praising you my Lord with love so replete
Abounding faith, with wings I take flight
See through the darkness the beauty of light
My heart now shows the joy it is feeling
For my pain, God has granted my healing
I clasp my hands, I sing praises to you
Bby grace alone, I have found faith anew
Let the gentleness of God's perfection
Shield me from harm, give me protection
Within my heart, blessed songs can be heard
For righteous and good is His spoken word
God took all my sorrow, he eased my pain
So many melodies, God would unchain
As I wondered lost on Earth's battleground
Mmute was the songbird and woodland sound
But now my heart sings in sweet harmony
My soul has been cleansed, now I fly free

Wow. This cut right to my soul. A beautiful piece that rings clear that no matter how bad life can be, God will be there, and he will set you free. Oh gosh, I'm still rhyming! Anyway, great poem, and a refreshment of undying faith.

I loved this...so much in fact that I think it would do well standing alone...so much in four lines....it was the perfect ending for this poetic song!
