Seashore
A restful place
peaceful breeze; calling birds
gentle waves are touching the shore
the harmonious dance that never ends
two lovers locked in an embrace
kissing and retreating
unending love
Seashore

This rictameter flows as smoothly as the waves upon the seashore. It is very well written, and uses very descriptive meaning, L5 is very nice, “the harmonious dance that never ends .” I love the deeper meaning behind every line.

Gorgeous, I love writing about the water in this form as well, it can really become rythmic like the ebb and flow, this is just beautiful!
-
I love this rictameter!!! I love rictameters full stop, but this is a lovely descriptive piece!! Perfect syllable count and great symmetry!! I have entered this too (Gushing) and now I'm getting worried
Good luck in the contest!! Sarah Louise Hudson

Subtle and smooth - this is a beautiful little piece of creation! I love the seashore and I love how you made the kissing and retreating couple into a metaphor. Nature reflects so many of our ways of life, doesn't it? Lovely.
Good luck in the contest.

Fabulous!!!!!! I wish I were out at the seashore right now! I could use some of that salt water breeze to help clear my head!
Keep that pen flowing! -
Thanks Puppydog nice comments. Thnks for reading I am glad you enjoyed it
-
I liked that small change also. Thanks
-
A very pleasing poem, beautifully written and I love the comparisons. I think "calling" birds or something similar would sound better than "singing" if the row gulls make is anything to go by, but this is only my humble opinion!! Lovely picture too.

Spiritual Poet, this a well done rictameter about the seashore. I liked that you used "seashore" for your opening and closing lines, one of my favorite places to be. Very nice poetical techniqiues used, I liked this alot. Good luck in the contest.
