As he’s getting ready to go,
A shot come from behind . . .
Bang -- Bang Suzi’s shotgun unloaded right, past his head!!
Bang – Bang this time Suzi tried to make sure, that he was dead.
Back in court again, Suzi thought she’d walk again,
She’d been here before.
Hoping to avoid a long prison stay,

It’s not Suzi’s day, the old judge has gone away,
Now there’s someone new.
He will make of her and example so

As the jury enters the room
A sound rings loud and strong!
Bang Bang judge’s golden gavel comes down like a knife.
Bang Bang jury’s verdict said sorry, “Girl you get life!”
Cell block thirty-eight, said they had a new cell mate,
Suzi’s finally scared,
She pretends that’s she’s suicidal, so

They take her away, to a safer place to stay,
It’s a padded cell
Solitary suits little Suzi weh
Eh eh ell!

Sol-i-ta-ry cell!!

Thanks for the link Pet... wonderful idea. Well you've nailed this one. Meter matches perfectly. You've done a wonderful job of getting the whole story in. It's humorous, tongue in cheek parody that catches the theme of this contest so well. Once you jolted my memory on the song... this reads along fluidly as the tune plays in my head. Now... I hope you know that "Bang bang.............." will loop through my head all day. I HATE when that happens. Think I'll go see if anybody parodied Innagodadivida
