Blood fell this day
It took all my pain away
I took that new blade
And new scars I have made
Once again the enemy's here
It helps release my biggest fear
The pain I felt was too great
No longer could I wait
Tears were falling from my eyes
Just like rain falls from the skies
When I cut the tears just stopped
And to my knees I suddenly dropped
I knelt there and thought
How much pain I have brought
And then I collapsed on the floor
And the tears came out even more
I saw the blade, covered in red
And at that point I just wanted to be dead
So I just lad there and I cried
Just hoping the feeling would subside
Then I couldn't breath or see
Could God hear my plea?
"If he goes I go too"
So lets just see this through
"Shoot me! Just shoot me now!"
How come this you won't allow?
But soon the suicidal thoughts stopped
And finally that blade dropped
And the tears stopped flowing
Then the depression stopped growing
And what did I gain from this day?
Nothing, nothing at all just my soul wasting away
Things were lost but nothing was gained
This whole day was filled with pain
I lost blood, and some of my soul
Never again to be happy, never again to be whole

This was fantastic. That is a perfect wording to the many thoughts that I and so many people I know have had. This was intense, and, well, perfect.
