Answer

God of love and anger
reigning in the sky
how can he be God of both?
Who is the Lord on high?

His existence is so questioned
attacked each living day,
challengers take respective ends
to prove just what they say.

Debates expose discovery
made by mortal man:
proclaiming that this God is fake
these unbelievers stand.

In the other ring of argue:
A different group of sorts
not trusting in the word of man
but trusting in the Lord.

They open up their evidence
that never goes unshunned
it speaks of things we cannot know
but witness being stunned.

The battle never ends
but someday must and will
and many will fall to meet their doom
when the Lord had loved them still.

To receive the mercy and the grace
that saves us from our sin
we have to believe in its provider,
for without him we can't win.

Author notes

'Why would God send a good person to hell?' ...if a good person denies God they also deny grace. Without grace, there is no hope.
