Coarse hands sweep back
loose curls and, as
hungry daggers graze
the porcelain skin along the
curve of her neck,
the darkness shatters with her
piercing screams.

You give a feel for talons here, and the exception, the curve, are no doubt beaks as well,or vampires. mmmm, spooky.
