Cried 'til my eyes were dry
Beads of unanswered love gathering at the corners
Until they begged to close;
begged to not have to see
such endlessness.
Your voice
snaked
over the deserts
prying open oblivious eyes.
In the slow moving colours of adjustment
these tired eyes
saw
what they had been looking for all along.

just beautiful

I was captivated from the very first line. Such maturity
of wit here, I find it hard to believe you are so young.
I write entirely to find out what I'm thinking, what I'm looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and
what I fear most... I think you do much the same.
Lovely not-too-long poem full of meaning and depth. If one
is prepared to look for it...
best wishes

Your poem has a beautiful progression all the way through it. It doesn't move too fast and it wound to the end slowly, drawing the reader in.
Absolutely beautiful. -
Just because you are looking for something, doesn't mean you want to find it. This poem had interesting twists and turns to it. I like the way it wound its way to the end...
