Paul the Pirate

Paul is a pirate,
patch over his eye.
Hook on his wrist,
navigates by the sky.
Paul eats his limes
like good pirates should.
He combs his hair with grease
and his bandanna's a hood.
Paul is the captain
and bosses his crew around.
Paul gets extra bossy
when they are treasure bound.
Guiding his ship,
the H.M.S. Jack Sparrow,
Paul is now currently
searching for a golden arrow.
This arrow is found
on an island so desolate
that it might cause trouble
for our hero, Paul the Pirate.
There are warrior mermaids,
and sea dragons line the way.
There's a storm 'a brewing,
but Paul's still happy and gay.
Clouds are forming in the sky;
the crew wakes with a start.
To the deck they come 'a runnin',
even Ol' Seadog Bart.
He may be a senior,
but Bart is Paul's right-hand mate.
So Ol' Seadog takes the lead
and holds up all his fingers (only eight!).
"Let's go!  Let's go!"
Bart gives a cry.
"Prepare the ship for impact!
Hurry!  Look at the sky!"
In the meanwhile where's our hero
the Captain Pirate Paul?
He's found the rum in the cellar,
and, well, he's having a ball.
Paul hears the crew scramble up above
and wonders what's the fuss.
He climbs to the deck
and screams like a scardy puss.
"Yup, it's a storm!" Bart announces,
but that's not what Paul is seeing.
Emerging from the foam of the sea
is an incredible mystical being.
The crew turns and sees it;
'tis a dragon, no doubt.
There is a rumble in his throat
and his lips form a put.
It's scales shine with an unusual sheen;
the color is hot pink.
His wings spread to an enormous span
and it can breath fire, Bart thinks.
Mr. Dragon reaches out his claw
and Paul is for dinner, poor fellow.
But Paul the Pirate pays no attention;
his mind's on the golden arrow.
Close to the island they have come;
Paul can feel the arrow gleam.
But the dragon hasn't forgotten them.
It's the end for Paul it seems.
Paul piles into the dingy
and has Bart row him to shore.
The hot pink dragon follows them
and the rain begins to pour.
Clamoring onto the sand,
Bart thinks the dragon has lost.
Mr. Dragon knows better;
the war has yet to be fought.
The dragon leaves the sea
and his wings take him into flight.
Seadog Bart tells Paul to find the arrow
while he stays back to fight.
Paul wants that arrow bad
so he hurries from the beach.
Yelling in happiness all the way,
the rum slurring his speech.
Ol' Seadog Bart battles 'till the end;
how could a pirate be as brave?
But the dragon hasn't been slewn;
he watches Paul enter a cave.
Inside that cave the arrow shines
brightly, with all its might.
It was located in the back,
so Paul continued his plight.
He took the arrow
in all its golden power
not knowing it was
his final hour.
In the dragon came,
a mighty roar.
Bart wasn't enough;
Mr. Dragon wanted to dine more.
In his greed, Paul forgot his sword
and turn around to leave.
Once he saw what was there,
Paul's chest began to heave.
Dragon opened his mouth and swallowed our hero whole
and then gave a great, big belch.
That's the end for Paul the Pirate.
Well, at least he died in wealth.
For inside the dragon you can find
a treasure of all sorts.
Since the dragon ate Pirate Paul,
the arrow resides in Dragon's stomach.
And what became of the H.M.S. Jack Sparrow
floating out at sea?
Well, the freed crew began to sing
"Yo-ho, a pirate's life for me!"
They then returned to England
where Paul was honored by the Queen.
After the ceremony was then through
the crew headed back to the sea.
With spittle on their lips,
the crew was overcome by greed.
They wanted to golden arrow
inside the dragon's belly.
The dragon was sunbathing
on a reef in the water.
Once he saw the H.M.S. Jack Sparrow, though,
his hot pink scales grew hotter.
But before the dragon could breathe fire,
his stomach disagreed with him.
He then coughed up something strange,
and that something began to swim.
Sir Something climbed up onto the ship
and pulled himself onto the deck.
The crew gathered around him
and, what the heck?!
It's our hero, Paul the Pirate!
His digesting days are through.
He's back to do piratey things
and pilfer from me and you.
Paul grasps the wheel
and reclaims the Sparrow.
"We've got to find that dragon!
I want that golden arrow!"
Well, dear reader, that concludes
this one Pirate Paul session.
I don't think there will be anymore
'cause we know Paul won't learn his lesson.
Don't try to be rich.  Don't be greedy.
That's supposed to be the moral.
And Paul sails his ship into the horizon;
his sails then unfurl.
But the dragon's too smart to be caught
and he ain't gonna give up that arrow.
He currently resides at the bottom of the Pacific
plotting against the Capetian of the H.M.S. Jack Sparrow.
