Nowhere Fast

Nowhere Fast

Broken hearted and shivering.
And everything else passes me by.
Nothing else is penetrated
But me, myself and I.

On a one way street,
feeling so trapped.
Running out of time,
feels like I'm running out of gas.

It's like trying to escape.
Like trying to runaway.
But I'm going nowhere fast.

Try to escape.
Try to runaway.
Nowhere.
Just like your life...
you're going nowhere fast.

Author notes

I was given the last stanza of the poem Virgins Blood to use as my first stanza.

Interesting. Not what I'm used to from you, but that doesn't mean anyting! I agree with Erotik, it's dark. But hey, it's a great write anyway. I do like that it's not too long and drawn out. It definitely gets the point across. Good job.

Hey....it's a dark write, I haven't seen this for a while. I feel you did a good job here.
