i listen to your fingers
gently hit the keys
and my mind and soul
begin to make an agreement
the notes separate the space
between both, me and you
and give us both direction
our love for the music
and the beauty it beholds
has captured us and set us free
i close my eyes and take in this heaven
as i sit next to you
and i get distracted
by the way your foot moves
upon the pedals
making the song come to life
shaping it and molding it
to its full capability
and i let it burn
i watch you play your masterpiece
and you stare into my eyes
making it look so easy
i wonder how you do it
so carelessly and effortless
and you just keep staring
not knowing how amazing
i think you are..

I smile at your poem. it took alot of gutz knot to check the grammer and spelling and also capitals and also punctuations. off that I really did like tyhe poem itself. I think it could have flowed a bit smoother though but otherwise its all good and really well written. Nice work all round and good luck in the contest.
