Another Day at the Office

For pedestrian safety,
I was out later than
12 am.
I saw you carrying
that broken umbrella,
reflecting off the
tinted windows.
I met that old
truck rental,
a regular
legend at work.
I took it out for
dinner,
but there was no
bike rack.
I had to let my
pony
take care of its
business
before we were
allowed entry
to try and solve
the mystery
of the apples.

Author notes
