Missing You Is Killing Me

My heart is aching
Around a feeling it cannot grasp
My stomach flops all over
Like a sickness that just won't pass

I know the moments we've shared
Will be some of my fondest
It's not every night we're
Raining our thoughts, never before so honest

I think THIS is true love
Just not the romantic kind
We've got that connection
The intimacy in our minds

Missing you is killing me
I just keep wishing for another
talk by the pool until 3:00am
Who needs sleep when we have each other?

I can't wait to see you again
I hope you feel like this too.

Author notes

Ummm...yeah. Too bad I can't capture those long talks we had....or thar midnight diner run

Awww very nice. Many, myself included, I'm sure can relate. Those feelings can never be put into words, ever. I've tried.
    Well penned,
