moonlight
woos,

breeze whispers

slumberer
dreams of

This poem came simply because God has given me a most comfortable bed, so much so that there have been many times I've fallen asleep on top of it, not intending to do so!
This happened just last night. When I woke up, I realized I still had my shoes on!
I then got ready for bed, and got under the sheets... and I felt like a piece of melting white chocolate- it was just SOOOOO nice!
Suffice it to say I went out quickly after that.
There's a verse in the Bible that says, "He giveth his beloved sleep"- I take that to heart.

Samplette had a contest eons ago for this form- I think it's fairly new?
It's a poem with ascending and descending syllables: 1-2-1-2-3-2-1-2-3-4-3-2-1-2-3-2-1-2-1. They are also supposed to be centered on the page, and usually have a relaxing/peaceful theme to them.
I just woke up in the middle of the night, and felt like writing it before I went back to sleep! I did have to rework it a little bit, though.
