Too long, my friends, has it been
since my pen danced across the Crisp,
Clean pages of my book. The Path was lost,
I was tossed like a ship at sea,
Into the Abyss of Nothing, into the
Unforgiving Waters that live only to
consume Sweeping, Sleeping Vessels...
The Darkness took me...
The Murky Waters filled my lungs,
But my Fading Hands Reached for the Light,
Struggling to fight for just One last Dance,
One more Chance, to breathe the Sweet,
Soothing Scent of Inspiration...
Sinking, Thinking if I was Good Enough
to Be Saved, Then Through the Darkness
of Ignorance a Hand Grabbed me, and
The Light pierced through...

Wow!!! What can I say, I took a long break from writing too. I felt like I was not good enough. Anyways keep it up! Stacey:

well to start, what an effective title you chose. after reading it, i just felt compelled to click on it to find the rest of the piece. writer's block is so often an inspiration it seems to help us as writers get through it. brilliant imagery, particularly at the end with "Through the Darkness
of Ignorance a Hand Grabbed me, and
The Light pierced through...". phenomenal. i'm not quite sure if i personally care for the frequent capitalization, but overall, a great piece. thanks for sharing and may peace go with you

There are these times I think I will never ever write again. That there is no inspiration... but then something happens, and its like this creativity is shot thru my veins.
Great work, kiddo
