By Chance

 

 

Two souls co joined in the evening skies

 

An instance of wondrous passion beheld

 

The flame was lit

 

Igniting a fire

 

A fire to burn

 

Electric sparks expelled

 

For two souls meeting with a smile

 

Found each other to love for a while

 

Just two grains of sand in this universe

 

Met if by chance

 

Now they thirst

 

No sad farewells or disheartening goodbyes

 

For tonight they meet again

 

In the evening skies

    Two souls co joined in the evening skies; Hi Barb--I read this poem last week and meant to stop back by and re-read it. co joined? is that what you meant to say or is that a typo dear? The read is great, flow, imagery is all there. I just have trouble with the first line! Maybe it's just me. Lovely write,
    No sad farewells or disheartening goodbyes
    For tonight they meet again

    Love these last two lines. No one ever likes to say goodbye!

    I luv the rhyme and rhythm of this write. You always make your poems seem so effortless to write. I know how hard it is for me to form a single thought much less make it flow with such grace and beauty. Thx for sharing....

    Good job aunty it was great i didnt even know you had writting a new poem but i thought i would check when the social worker came by to bug me today. I totally lied to her and she believed it..few. i guess i shouldnt have but i was scared so yeah. Great poem aunty! i love you
