A Grandma for PoetryPuppy (Bronze Trophy)

A Grandma For PoetryPuppy

I have a lot of grandchildren,
All of them I love dearly
But they all live so far away
And I don’t even see them yearly

I know you are a dear little girl
And I so enjoy your writing
Each and every one I’ve read
Is so nice and inviting

I know we’d be great together
And we both write children’s stuff
You have a precious heart
And that alone is enough

I miss my grandchildren a lot
You hold a special place in my heart
I enjoy your delightful ways
In your life, I’d love to be a part

So let’s share our lives a bit
We’d have such fun, I know
A special love we would share
And could help each other grow

My pledge to be PoetryPuppy’s grandma

Author notes

I love PoetryPuppy's writing, her personality and just her for being herself  I miss my own grandchildren since they live too far away for me to see very often. They're in Washington and Hawaii and I'm in Arizona.  I only manage to be able to go there once in two or three years and some of them occasionally come to Phoenix for a short visit.   I'd love to be grandma to the so delightful PoetryPuppy.  She already holds a special place in my heart and this would be wonderful

    very entertaining

its been a while since I have seen your page, and longer since i have commented on it so here we are. this piece is simple and heart warming, and has some sentimentality to it (if thats the word...). "dont eat earwax, stay away from fried cabbage... frogstools". ~angela the herbalist, eragon
im deciding to put advice at the end of all my comments, because every once and a while we all need words of wisdom. everyday for me.

A very heartfelt poem Granny Goose, I think you need a little granddaughter to help fill your days, going by what you say you have an abundance of love to give her and that's what grandmas are for...the best of luck to you in the her contest

I've read some of Kiarna's poetry and she's entered my contests.. in fact if I recall correctly she has won a trophy in at least one of them.... She's a little charmer and is so fortunate to have a mom who takes such an interest and helps her with her writing. It can make all the difference in the world ...she has the potential to become an exeptionally good writer in the future.
Anyway, whoever she decides to have for her AP grandma is going to be a very lucky lady and will be so happy to have her for her AP granddaughter

Just one thing.... on my pc..or maybe it's these old eyes... I can never tell for sure if her name is spelled with rn in the middle or m.
